Our Dogs
On these pages, we have highlighted some of our wonderful dogs. However, they represent only a few of the dogs we have been privileged to own, show, breed or share with others. Being successful in the show ring is important to us but nothing is more important than the health, safety and care of these amazing creatures. As said so well by Pat Trottier during her Westminster Best in Show judging "Not all pets are show dogs, but rest assured, all show dogs are pets".
Eddie
Am. Can. UKC Ch. Good Guys Wear Black
Owned by Lillian Roy, Mary McEneany and Michele DeTour and living in Montreal, Canada.
Eddie was a beauty to watch in the show ring, finishing a Canadian Championship in one weekend with a Group 1, 2, and 3. In the show ring, Eddie is a stunner, having true breed type and movement to match.
Maddy
Am.Can.CH Noire's Caught With Ur Pants Down
Maddy was owned by Michele Detour. Maddy left us just a few months after her 15th birthday having lived a strong and healthy life while ruling the house! Thanks for everything beautiful.
Katniss
AM. BIS UKC CH. Nuview's Let the Games Begin, CGC TKN TKI RA PT
Katniss is one of our own breeding's out of Gemma. She is owned by Michele DeTour and Mary McEneany. Katniss finished her Am. Championship quickly and has moved onto her real love - performance and herding.
The most intelligent dog we have ever owned. During the COVID-19 months alone, she earned 7 different titles including rally, trick dog, CGC and herding.
Hennessy
Am. Can. Ch. Nuview's Imperiale French Connection V.S.
Hennessy is owned by Barb Lamb-Wells, Tom Wells and Michele DeTour. One of our breeding's, he is out of Molly (below). He hit the show circuit as a puppy, winning three Best Puppy in Shows and finished in Canada and the U.S. quickly.
Molly
Am. Can. Ch. Nuview's Good Golly Miss Molly
Molly is owned by Barb Lamb-Wells, Tom Wells and Michele DeTour and Mary McEneany. Molly is mother to the beautiful Hennessy. A beauty herself, she took a major at her first show which prompted another Briard exhibiter to tell her owner, Barb, that not everyone gets such a quality dog for their first show dog. Special moment.
Ren
Am. Can. Ch. Hickory Tavern Fools Rush In CM
No, she isn't a Briard. Ren is a Barbet and is owned by Leslie Vogt-Woodward, Lynn Vogt-Kinsey, Michele DeTour and Mary McEneany. Ren is beautiful example of the Barbet. Her breeding to the equally beautiful Jordy produced our lovely Atticus.
Halley
Am. GCh. Can Ch. Dromore's Navigating by Moonlight de L'Heureux
Halley just completed her American Grand Championship in July, 2021. She is owned by Michele DeTour and Mary McEneany. Halley is the sweetest, most good natured Briard in our home. We thank her breeders, Theresa Lee, Sue McCormick and Meg Weitz for this lovely girl.
Tristan
Am. Can. Ch. Nuview's Legend of the Fall
Tristan is out of our own Gemma and is owned by Dave and Sue Wahr. Dave and Sue were kind enough to allow us to finish Tristan in both countries and Tristan repaid that kindness with a Group One win on Sue's birthday and became Michele's second Best Bred by Exhibitor in Show (following in his mother's footsteps).
He lives happily in eastern Massachusetts with his family and fellow Briard Gracie.
